  • Receive your Indian eVisa via email within a few days after completing the application.

It's worth noting that all foreign nationals, including Indonesians, must apply for the Indian electronic visa at least four days before their intended travel date. Additionally, Indonesian travelers must have enough funds to sustain themselves during their stay in India and ensure they leave the country within the validity period of their travel authorization. Other Important Documents Required for Indian eVisa Application by Indonesians

  • A clear, front-facing passport-style photo of the traveller against a white background, with no glasses, and in JPEG/PNG/PDF format. The image should show the entire face, from the top of the hair to the chin, between 10KB and 1 MB.
  • If visiting India for medical assistance, a scan of the admission letter from the Indian hospital showing the admission date and hospital letterhead.
  • For the e-Business visa, a scan of the invitation letter from the Indian company and a business card.

Note: It is extremely essential to note that there may be additional requirements for Indonesian travellers to enter India, such as complying with criminal record conditions.

After applying, travellers from Indonesia may receive an email within 24 hours if any uploaded documents need to be resubmitted.

The processing time for the Indian eVisa can take at least 72 hours. After this period, Indonesian travellers can check the status of their application, which will show whether it has been granted or rejected.

Maximum Validity and Stay Period of Indian eVisas for Indonesians

Indonesian travellers who are granted the Indian electronic visa (eVisa) must have a printed copy of their travel authorization during their visit to India.

The validity of the e-Tourist visa for India can be 30 (thirty) days or 1 (one) Year or 5 (five) years from the date of issuance depending upon the type of Tourist Visa applied for. Maximum duration of stay per visit is 90 days in case of One Year Tourist Visa or Five Year Tourist Visa.

For the Indian e-Medical visa and e-Medical attendant visa, the validity is 60 days from the date of arrival, with triple entry allowed within the validity period.

Indian Business eVisa is valid for 1 (one) Year and allows 180 days of continuous stay.

The Indian e-Conference visa is valid for 30 days from arrival, with only one entry allowed.
