Indian Conference e-Visa can be solely used for conference related activities like attending an exhibition, trade fairs, attending conferences, webinars, events, etc. It grants 30-day validity with a single-entry, and the stay offered is 30-days or less, depending on the end date of the conference.

What is the application process? What are the steps to follow?

Since the Indian eVisa does not require you to visit the Indian embassy, you simply need to visit the website to apply according to your convenience from anywhere.

Step 1:

Once you visit the website, click on the Apply for Indian eVisa button, you will be taken to the Indian eVisa Application form page, wherein you are required to fill in some basic information.

Step 2:

Information like your full name/middle name, surname, date of birth, citizenship, place of birth, address, email ID, mobile number, religion, gender, identification mark if any, marital status, Spain passport number, passport issuing date and expiry date, passport issuing country, etc needs to be filled.

Step 3:

Answer questions related to your health, in case you have any health issues or communicable disease.

Step 4:

If you have any past criminal records or have been deported from any country, or legal procedures going on, needs to be mentioned.

Step 5:

Upload the documents like your photo or passport biography page, if requested.

Step 6:

When you are done filling the form, check if you have filled all the details correctly, then click on the payment button to pay the Indian eVisa fees, which can be paid only using the debit/credit card.

What about the Payment? How to pay the Indian eVisa Application fees?

Applicants with Spain passports after filling the form online can pay the Indian eVisa fees by using the Central African CFA franc (XAF) or any of the 135 currencies via their credit or debit cards.

What about additional proof? How to submit it?

When you are done submitting the Indian eVisa form, if additional documents are required like the passport copy of the biography page or face passport photo, you will be mailed to do so. Just make sure that the scanned passport copy and your photo should be submitted sticking to the instructions.

Will the applicants be required to courier the passport, photograph or documents to the Embassy of India?
